Hello Winter

Hello Winter

Today marks the end of Autumn which has me thinking two things.

  1. Where has the first half of 2017 gone?
  2. YAY! Cosy jumper season.

You guys may be dressing up in scary costumes but I opted for my cosiest of cosy jumpers instead. No regrets either.

Oversized jumpers are definitely a key item in your winter wardrobe. I tend to go more towards basic colours such as my taupe chunky knit pictured above (A/W17 from Folkster, link below). However most high street shops have fab brightly coloured knits in their A/W stock.

For optimum winter comfort style your jumper with a pair of trusty boots and jeans. If you’re like me and can’t help wearing skirts all year round then try to go for winter fabrics such as velvet, heavy denim and suede.

Layers are key during the colder months! My striped t-shirt is actually a crop top from Zara S/S 17 collection. Luckily for me (and you) they regularly bring in a variation of this top. I have about four of them in my wardrobe¬†at the moment. Crop tops are ideal for styling under jumpers or woven items if you aren’t a fan of heavy layering.

Stay warm guys x
